Mrs. Bell was my second grade teacher at Southern Hills. I remember being scared of her the first time she came in the room she seemed so strict. It didn't take long for me to love her. I went back several times to visit her after I finished school. To this day she is still one of my favorite teachers. I am a teacher now and have been for the last 16 years. I only hope I will impact my students lives and make them feel as special as Mrs. Bell made me. So sorry to hear about her death. She is probably teaching in heaven. Praying for your family.

I am deeply saddened to hear of the death of such a beautiful woman, excellent educator, and loving wife, Mom, and Grandmom. It has been many years since Wanda and I taught together at Southern Hills Elementary. I was fresh out of college and she was such a welcoming force in my life at that time. She always had a smile, kind words, and a hug to give. She was an excellent teacher who was loved by her students and coworkers. My prayers are with you.

Mrs Bell was one of my favorite teachers. I would choose to stay in from recess to help her do little projects. I remember one day getting into trouble. She caught me standing on top of the desk. Why in the world I was up there is beyond me but I remember the way she lovingly but sternly punished me. She explained how dangerous it was for me to be up there and not to do it again.
RIP Mrs Bell
