1963 - 2021

Thomas Wayne Davis June 28, 1963 - Aug. 30, 2021 It is with heavy hearts that our dearly beloved Thomas Davis, 58, of Staten Island passed peacefully on August 30th, 2021. Thomas was one of four children, a lifelong Staten Islander and a graduate of Port Richmond High School. He worked as an operating engineer with Local 14, which he loved doing. He first worked for Brown & Davis Excavating in 1984 and then formed Davis Excavating with his father and two brothers. The business did various jobs throughout the Tri-State area. He loved hunting, fishing, Nascar, boating, traveling, cooking, reading and watching "Jeopardy!" He loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Laura Davis (nee Benitez), his two children Thomas and Julia and a stepdaughter Kirsten. He is also survived by his parents, Alice and Theodore Davis and his two brothers, Teddy and Darren Davis. He is predeceased by his sister, Mary Davis. He also has twelve loving nieces and nephews. Visitations at Harmon Funeral Home on Wednesday, Sept. 1st, 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, September 2nd 2-4 and 6-9 pm. Mass is Friday, Sept. 3rd at 10:45 a.m. at Sacred Heart.
