MARYSVILLE - Charles M. Lewis, age 57, of Marysville, died Friday, April 21, 2023, at his home.
He was born January 6, 1966, in Marysville to the late Ray Harold and Ada Eickemeyer Lewis.
He was president of Tuffco Sand & Gravel in Plain City and was also owner of Timberview Development Company and Lewco Properties LLC.
A 1984 graduate of Marysville High School, Charles was an outdoorsman and nature lover. He liked snowmobiling, fishing, boating and spending time with his family, including his dogs. A classic car enthusiast, he was proud of owning a 1978 Corvette that his father gifted to him. The family home in Michigan was a favorite getaway with his two daughters and wife, who were the center of his life. He especially cherished attending his daughters' sporting events. He was an avid Disney lover and took many family vacations to Disney World.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Mary Ann Linker Lewis, whom he married September 9, 1995 at First English Lutheran Church; his daughters, Tessa Louise (and her fiancé, Joseph Weingates) Lewis of Marysville and Aubree Ann Lewis of Cincinnati; his in-laws, Ronald Linker and Beverly Davis, both of Jackson Center; a sister-in-law, Pam (Deron) DeVelvis of Jackson Center; and many other relatives, including his late brother, Bob's family; and his nieces, Kara (Brad) and Heather (Derek), a great-niece, Everly and great-nephew, Griffin.
The family will receive friends 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Underwood Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hand Me Down Dobes, a non-profit, Doberman Pinscher rescue organization, P.O.
