Richard Holthaus Obituary

MINSTER - Richard J. Holthaus, age 63, of Minster, OH, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. Richard "Rick" Holthaus was born April 10, 1961, in Ft. Loramie, OH, to the late Gregor and Rita (Winner) Holthaus. He had five siblings: Ron Holthaus, Jerry Holthaus, Ken Holthaus, Marvin Holthaus and Martha "Marty" Speer.

Rick is survived by his children: Lyndie (Justin) Conner of Gresham, OR, and Corey (Danielle) Holthaus of Maplewood, OH; and his eight grandchildren: Gunner, Triton, Everly, Ryker, John, Elara, Sylar and Malakai. Rick is preceded in death by his parents and brother: Jerry.

Rick was a 1979 graduate of Ft. Loramie High School. He loved to bowl, listen to classic rock music, watch movies and spend time with his children and family. Rick was a kind soul and loved all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney. Contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.theadamsfuneralhome.com.
