David Whitaker Obituary

David Whitaker passed away on May 24, 2022 at the age 55 from a heart attack in his home in Lake Isabella. He was born on November 12, 1966 in Burbank, CA and was the youngest of four.

David worked as a Security guard officer for 16 years then promoted to supervisor at the Kaiser Permanente hospital where he worked six years in Santa Carita and another 10 years in Bakersfield.

Dave, or Super Dave, as some of his friends called him because of all the exciting stories he would tell, loved fishing, hunting, NASCAR races and football.

David is survived by his siblings, Tommy, Russell and Cindy, his stepfather, Paul and his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon.

Everyone loved David. He had a heart of gold and was always good natured. We will miss you David!
A service will be announced at a later date.

My most sincere condolences to the Whitaker family, I worked with Dave while at Kaiser on Tourney Rd. He trained me when I first started in 2002 and I'm still here. I will always be grateful to him for that. May he rest in peace, so sorry to hear of his passing. Blessings to his family.
