Charles Everett Huffer
LINCOLN, IL - Charles Everett Huffer, 80, of Lincoln died at 12:58 p.m., Sept. 9, 2013, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Ill.
He is survived by his wife, June Huffer; his children: Jeff (Patty) Huffer, Suzie (Mike) Maxheimer, and Sherri (Corey) Clayton; two sisters; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife.
Services will be Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Lincoln. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery with full military rites accorded by Lincoln American Legion Post #263. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 p.m. at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Memorials may be given in his memory to American Legion Post #263, American Cancer Society or Immanuel Lutheran Church of Lincoln.

June and family ,Sorry to hear about Charlie .He was a great guy . I remember all the kind thing he would say and the smile he always had on his face.when I worked at Eaton he would stop and chat for a few min. I first met him at the American Legion when I worked their back in the seventies he donated lots of his time to the Friday night fish fry. He will be missed .
