Christine Beth Hunt

BRANDON, FL - Christine Beth Hunt, 56, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 3, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her father, Brad Bollinger.

Survivors include her loving husband, Joe Hunt; two sons, Nicholas James and Matt Lynch both of St. Louis, Mo.; mother, Joan Bollinger; brother, Tim Bollinger (wife, Gene); sister, Andrea Nolan; several nieces, a nephew, all residing in Stonington, Ill.

Christine had such a huge, caring spirit, such a large personality and endearing smile, that many would comment that she truly brightened up a room when she entered.

She taught her two boys to appreciate music, art, literature and how to select the correct trowel from Ace Hardware. As a child her mom and dad would regularly vacation in Del Ray Beach, Fla., where they and Christine's grandparents maintained homes for many years. She simply fell in love with Florida and welcomed its heat and humidity which comforted her so much. Finally moving to Miami Beach in 1998, residing presently with her husband in Brandon, she basked in the sun at every opportunity, a little bit of heaven to her.

The most important part of her week was attending Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services at Calvary Chapel Brandon for prayer, praise and Bible study with her husband, Joe. That's where she found her solace: in the presence of her Lord, Jesus Christ.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at Calvary Chapel Brandon, 1331 Kingsway Rd., Brandon, FL 33510.

Christine's family would like to return the love and wonderful care she received her last few weeks at Sun City Center Hospice House, 3723 Upper Creek Drive, Ruskin, FL, 33573 and ask that memorials be directed to them in lieu of flowers.
