Mr. DX’er will be missed….
My fellow guardsman and Ham radio operator touched so many of us so very positively; I remember the days of helping host hamfests with he and Carole and chatting with Amateurs around the world…I hope my prayers reach him in heaven, his newest DX location. 88’s, Ben, K9IDQ.

Carole, Brian, Brad,
I can't help but smile when remembering Jim. I remember when he let me talk on his ham radio one night and we connected with someone far away. I don't know who was more excited, me or Jim. He was truely a great man and I will never forget him.
We are camping in Tennessee and won't be home until friday, but my heart will be with Jim and all of you this week.

My deepest sympathies to Jim's family. I attended school with Jim from grade school through high school graduation at Rochester and although I was unable to come to the reunion last summer, I remember with fondness his cheerful spirit, his kindness and his zest for life. You will be in my prayers; Jim was one of the good guys.
