Steve Thronsen Obituary

Mount Vernon, Washington - Mr. Steve Thronsen passed peacefully August 21, 2021, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. He was born June 27, 1944 to Paul and June Thronsen in Seattle, WA. Steve graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1962 and went on to study at the University of Washington, graduating in 1966. After college, Steve went on to serve his country as an officer in the Vietnam War.

Steve worked at Kenworth Trucking and Paccar for over 30 years. Steve was able to retire in La Conner, WA with his wife and pursue his dream of living a peaceful life on the water. Steve will be remembered as a kind and generous man. He loved his family unconditionally and sought to provide them with the tools necessary to succeed in life. Steve will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Steve is survived by his wife, Diana; step son, Michael Garrett (Tanya), their children, Kendra, Jordyn and Kyle; granddaughter, Taylor Herbert; sister, Carol Engles (Jon), their daughters, Susan (Paul Brengle) , and Kristin (Craig Lockwood); great nephew, Cale Brengle; and great nieces, Urielle and Olivia Lockwood.
