Cody Crosby Obituary

Cody Crosby passed away way too early in life on June 8, 2024. He left behind his collection of Jordans, rap records, his beloved pets and many people who loved him.

Cody is survived by his partner and love of his life, Nataly Pikna (aka Natty) and their pets Mr. Furly, Fonzy and Franky. He is also survived by his mother Roxanne Murray (aka Foxy Roxy), father John Crosby (aka Wein), step-dad Seamus Murray (Pops), step-mom Yoli Crosby (Yols). His sister Jamie Domenici (aka Jaime Escalante), Robert Domenici (Rob-o), nieces Adeline Domenici (Schmaddy) and Georgia Domenici (Weezus) whom he taught lots of colorful language and lyrics. His aunt, Ann Marie Holmes. His step-brother Anthony Arrechea (Arch) and step-sister Erica Arrechea and families. Also his brothers Charlie and Clyde (his mom insists on calling her dogs his brothers). Cody will also be missed by many extended family members and life long friends.

Cody graduated from Burlingame High School where he was known for his larger than life personality and one of a kind three point shot. He spent 20+ years as a funeral director where he dedicated his life to helping people in their saddest hour. His heart was big and his soul was kind which made him the person who you wanted by your side in these hard times.

He was a diehard Warriors and 49ers fan and never missed a game. You could often find him at the Bull with his Dad on Sundays. He was the king of pranks and known for his one-liners. He loved all animals and they loved him. He loved Tahoe especially Sleepy Pines and playing a game of shuffleboard at Village Pub. He loved his local restaurants (thank you Celias and Village Host). He was a dedicated sandwich maker and made what he told his mom was ""the perfect sandwich"" the day before he passed. He loved music and it was a blessing that he saw the WuTangClan at the Giants game the week before he passed.

Codiva, C-murder, Big Cheese, Coco, Unc, Precious, you will be forever in our hearts.

Please join us in celebrating Cody at a Memorial Mass on June 21 at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Burlingame at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow.

High School brought many new and wonderful things. Cody Crosby was one of them. Cody hung with and positively influenced my five boys, daughter and grandchildren.
He came to Tahoe with us, we. came to his games, we watched his football prowess as he hurdled our team to the Championships. He partied at our house especially when both of us parents were at work.
He was always exceedingly helpful to me both professionally as well as personally. His smile was a constant. I never saw him unhappy, or contrary. When I think of Cody, I think of this big, smiling huggable young man.
Later, (while I worked as a physician in Mills-Peninsula Emergency Department) Cody frequented our halls. He was there for our patients during their greatest time of need. He generated smiles even then.
Thank you Cody for being a positive influence in my life as well as my children's, husbands and grandchildren's lives.
May your family fare well and only recall your kindness to all you touched.

Cody was both a face of friendship and a professional help to me in helping families plan their services. He made the several decisions involved into acts of kindness.

No matter how busy he was he always seemed to have time and interest for others. Cody had big shoes to fill at work and he did it very well. I miss him already. God bless him and his family and his friends. - Rev. Dr. Paul watermulder

I first met Cody when his mom, Roxanne (my cousin) brought him home from the hospital as a newborn. I will always remember what a happy, laughing baby he was.
Later in life, he would regularly drive to San Francisco to take my mom out to dinner. My mother cherished those times will Cody. She said he always treated her like a queen. He was always so gracious and kind to her. When she moved to San Mateo, Cody was always there for him whenever she needed him. He was always generous with his time and attention.
Thank you, Cody, for all the wonderful things you did for my mom. I will always be grateful.
I hope that you and she are together wherever we go from here and that you are laughing and joking with each other.
May you rest in peace knowing that you touched so many lives with your kindness and generosity.

Love always,
Your grateful cousin,
Peggy

My son Jacob played basketball with Cody and my other son David was their coach. They did a trick that they saw on tv where Jacob pretended to throw the ball to another player who fell like a dog and barked. When everyone looked at him Jacob threw the ball into Cody who made the two points that won the game. We all had a good laugh Unfortunately life is too short and thankGod we can still remember the good times. Cody and his family will always be in our prayers and thoughts. Denis and Sheryl Fuata

Cody will always be apart of any family that he has had special moments with. His smile carries on in everyone´s hearts. Cody always had a personality that nothing could ever stand in his way and still enjoyed the little things in life. You shall always and forever be loved and remembered. I´m going to miss seeing you and I will always have you in my heart and prayers. As well as your family.
