Beautiful girl, talented, smart and a friend to all! Now I've got a grand-daughter at T.Tech. I hope she enjoys it as much as Susie did. She gave me a tour of the campus with me on an Aggie football trip to Lubbock. Great memory! We were classmates at LMHS

Susie, What a great friend you were. We truly had some fun times in La Marque. You were always there in times of trouble or laughter. I loved spending time with your family and mine adored you.
It sounds like you filled your life with excitement and love.
You will truly be missed by everyone who knew you.

I was very sad to read of Susan's death. I met her 18 years ago when she was working at Buena Vista and will always remember her as a petite woman with a larger-than-life personality. She will be very missed around Sonoma.

"Susie" was a lifelong friend who will be highly regarded, fondly remembered and dearly missed by all in TX who knew her. She was a mentor to many, an academic achiever, a friend to those less fortunate and a passionate "student" who enjoyed and continued to learn new skills throughout her life.
Susie and her parents embraced her friends as if we were also family, including many in their numerous and varied outings. We eagerly anticipated the annual Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, knowing that Susie and her father would invite us to the event where we would mingle with and obtain autographs from legends of Country Music and the Old West.
Susan "Susie" Lewis Scarbrough was simply one of a kind. May she rest in peace.
