Gary McLean Obituary
He is a member of Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians. He loved old country music, and could recognize any artist when he heard their music. He loved to fish, and hunted many years ago. He loved westerns, but not Texas Ranger. He was also an active snowmobiler, making many cross country trips in the UP.
He is survived by his children,Christina McLean, Mackinac Island; Tyler McLean, Mackinac Island; Catelyn McLean, Kinross; Travis McLean and Trevor McLean, Mackinac Island; brothers, Jack McLean, St.Ignace; Robert McLean, Sault Ste. Marie; sister, Michele "Shelly" McLean, Mackinac Island; granddaughters. Aubrey McLean, Aaliyah Roe; very close best friends, Bobby Horn, Soo and Paul McGrath, St. Ignace, and two aunts, Jodi (Dale) Gough, Pickford, and Bobbie Lee, Hessel.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 2 at 2 pm at Dodson Funeral Home, with Fr. Jim Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial of his ashes will be on Mackinac Island on Saturday, December 5 on the family plot.
