Angela Bennett Obituary
SOUTH BEND - Angela Marie Bennett, who resided on Sherman Avenue, South Bend, IN, departed this life on Wednesday, November 13, 2013. Angela was born May 28, 1961, in Buffalo, New York, but was a lifetime resident of South Bend, IN. She was born to Diane L. Bennett and Benjamin Van, who also joined her into this eternal journey. Angie leaves to cherish her everlasting memory one son, Jason Townsend; three sisters, Alisa Williams and Diane Hicks, all of South Bend, IN, and Antonia Williams of Indianapolis, IN; three brothers, Allen and Anthony Williams, both of Houston, TX, and Anthony Riley of Elkhart, IN; three sisters, for life, Robin Townsend, Suevena (Lee) Townsend and Monique Townsend; five loving grandchildren, Jacelynn Townsend, Ginika Singleton, Nevaeh Townsend, Jaliyah Townsend and Jamar Townsend; along with a host of other family members and friends. Angie was medically retired, but that still did not stop her from helping those in need. She enjoyed making friends, spending time with her grandchildren, and being a nurse's aide. Angie will be remembered for her infectious and giving spirit. Services for Angie will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at Alford's Mortuary, with viewing held one hour prior to services.
