Brian Hoffacker Obituary

SOUTH BEND - Brian William Hoffacker, 76, of South Bend, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at St. Joseph Health System Rehabilitation Institute, Mishawaka, having suffered a stroke on Thanksgiving Day. He was born in Bluffton, Indiana, on June 27, 1940, to the late John and Esther (Blosser) Hoffacker.
After graduating from Bluffton High School, Class of 1958, he attended Indiana University and served in the Indiana National Guard from 1960-1963. His work as a business analyst for Dun & Bradstreet Inc. initially brought him to the South Bend area. This was followed by many years in credit management with Coachmen Industries Inc., of Middlebury, Indiana.
Completing a lifelong goal, he was awarded a Bachelor of General Studies degree from Indiana University School of Continuing Studies in 1992.
On February 27, 1965, he married Judith Ann (Lee) Hoffacker in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is survived by Judith and two sons, Kurt (Daphne) Hoffacker of Austin, Texas, and Chris (Joan) Hoffacker of Edwardsburg, Michigan, and by a grandson, Henry Hoffacker, also of Austin, Texas.
