Caroline Beutter Obituary

Caroline Beutter Feb. 15, 1933 - Jan. 7, 2015 SOUTH BEND - Caroline Beutter, 81, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 2:25 p.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in the Sanctuary at Holy Cross. Caroline was born on February 15, 1933 in South Bend to Joseph and Virginia (Renes) Madar, and was a lifelong resident. On September 1, 1951, in South Bend, she married Irvin J. Beutter, who preceded her in death on April 7, 1993. Also preceding her in death was her great friend, Dorothy Gorski. Caroline is survived by her two daughters, Sharon (Dan) Scott and Sandy (Mike) Wasowski, both of South Bend, Indiana; her son, Michael (Bridget) Beutter of South Bend, Indiana; five grandchildren, Sarah (Nathan) Hibschman, Stephanie (Brad Wesolowski) Beutter, Hannah (Austin) Fox-Welter, Aaron Wasowski, and Sean Scott; one step-grandson, Dan (Krista) Scott; three step great-grandchildren, Aubree Scott, and Kalee and Skyler Hampton; and her lifelong friend and cousin, Mardelle Delanghe. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 12, 2015 in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10 until 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Caroline was a member of St. John the Baptist Parish. She loved to read, play cards, and spend time with her family. The family wishes to thank the entire staff at the Sanctuary at Holy Cross for their loving care of Caroline. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Church, Christmas Commandos, or Pet Refuge. To send online condolences, please visit kaniewski.com.

Sharon, Sandy and Michael....thinking of you and your families in your time of grief. So many of my childhood memories involve our swinging, playing school and picnics in the yard between our houses on Sussex. Loved your mom and dad. So sorry for your loss.
