SOUTH BEND, IN - Our dear friend, 66, passed away unexpectedly over the holidays. A Riley grad & full of humor, he enjoyed wrestling with his grandkids & loved listening to music. Surviving are children Umekia (Leon) Johnson & Dewayne (Jeanie) Woods, special daughter Tracy Smith, four grandchildren; silbings Kevin & Gina Dikes, & Dewayne Ludy. Memorial Service 1pm Fri., Jan. 15, 2021, with family gathering one our prior at Faith Apostolic Ministries, 909 Bendix Dr. Arrangements by www.Boydandsonfuneralhome.com where condolences can be shared. Face mask & social distancing.

Man ... you never know how things effect you me and my dad had a difficult relationship but yet we understand each other it didn’t give me the world but he thought me a lot just off the small things we talked about he showed me that it’s not about money or giving something all the time ... but it was about the love he showed me EVERY BIRTHDAY IF DIDNT NO ONE CALL ME I ALWAYS COUNT ON HIM TO CALL ME NO MATTER WHAT ...iam goin to miss that call from. Him he would never say bye it’s always I love you and I will talk to you later iam goin to miss my dad love you always you 1and only son

Dewayne man we lost a Allstar in the community I new Dewayne since I was a little kid no matter when u seen him ups and downs he always had a smile that would bring joy to your heart to me he's a staple in the community and will always be he was funny always cracking jokes I grew up knowing him because he new my family and all these years he had a great spirit and heart to everyone he will be missed and I pray for healing to his family and friends God bless u brother u will be truly missed
