SOUTH BEND - Larry Lynn Rodts, 69, of Lucas Road, Three Rivers, Michigan, formerly of South Bend, passed away at his home from a year long battle with cancer, on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2016. He was born on February 10th, 1947 in South Bend, Indiana to Homer and Mary (Dutio) Rodts who both preceded him in death. He is survived by his children: Lori Rodts-Tucker of Edwardsburg, Larry (Tammy) Rodts of Mishawaka and Anthony Rodts of Granger. Five grandchildren: Sheena Phebus, Loretta Rodts, Christopher Rodts, Cheyenne Tucker and Skyler Rodts. Three great grandchildren: Gavin Phebus, Braxton Phebus and Ryder Rodts. His niece, Renee Nelson and a nephew Ronald Rodts also survive with Larry's Fiancee, Vicki Boules of South Bend and his brother, Ronald Rodts of Mishawaka. Larry was a member of the American Legion and spoke at Boy's Clubs, inspiring young people to stay out of trouble. He was a Sales Manager for 33 years at several dealerships in Elkhart and Goshen until his retirement. He loved living on the lake, boating, fishing and his buddy, Kiki (His Yorkie). Funeral services will be held at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, Indiana on Wednesday, March 30th, at 2:00pm, where friends will be received from 12:00pm until the time of the funeral service on Wednesday. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. There will be a celebration of life reception immediately following services at V.F. W. Post #360, 1307 East Jefferson Road, Mishawaka, Indiana. The family wishes that memorial contributions be made to the Three Rivers Hospice or the American Lung Association.
