MISHAWAKA - Patricia A. Sharp, 62, of Mishawaka, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 10, 2008, in her home with her husband Jim by her side. Pat was born on July 5, 1945, in Milwaukee, WI, to Clifford and Elizabeth (Cronon) Toensing. Both parents preceded her in death. Pat married her husband, Jim Sharp, on March 4, 1978, in South Bend. Jim and Pat just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary of love and commitment to each other a month ago, this past March. Pat is survived by her husband, Jim, and their two children, David (Alicia) Lundal of Madison, WI, and Kristine (Fred) Ferguson of Phoenix, AZ. Pat was also a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren, Haley, Roark and Cooper Lundal of Madison, WI, Gretchen, Emily, Meghan and Riley Ferguson of Phoenix, AZ. Pat is also survived by two brothers, Craig (Gale) Toensing of Connecticut and Trent (Mary Ellen) Toensing of New Hampshire; and one sister, Cathy (Jeff) Henderson of Oregon. Pat was an animal lover who had a special companion in her life, her dog "Molly" that she cherished and adored. Pat had been retired for 15 years; she had worked as a physician's assistant, mainly at the South Bend Clinic. Pat was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Pat enjoyed gardening, and was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs, Indiana Hoosiers and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 14, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN. A Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 15, at 9:30 a.m. in the chapel of St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger, IN, with Father William Schooler officiating.
