HAL EPLIN
DAVIN, W.Va. — Hal Adam Eplin, 30, of Davin, departed this life suddenly Friday, July 8, 2016, at Davin.
Born March 6, 1986, at Man, he was a son of Gary Mitchell and Deanna Carol Elkins Eplin of Davin.
Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Haskel and Estyella Spears Eplin; aunts and uncles: Kelly Elkins, Sandra Eplin, Paul Eplin, Butch and Linda McDaniels, and Greg and Drema Eplin.
Hal was of the Baptist faith and had attended Man High School. He had a very kind and giving heart. Hal was formerly employed with Vance's Recycling.
Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his parents, are his twin sister, Hali Eplin of Charlotte, N.C.; his maternal grandparents, Hal and Joyce Booth Elkins of Lyburn; aunts and uncles: Dana Elkins and Wayne Jackson of Charleston, Chris and Katie Farmer Elkins of Pecks Mill, Jimmy and Lacy Eplin of Davin, and Judy Eplin of Combs Addition; many cousins along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 14, at Davin Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Hatfield, assisted by Rev. Tommy Vance, officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the church also.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Hal's name to the Davin Baptist Church, P.O. Box 441, Davin, WV 25617.

I am so sorry for your loss. We love Hal. He has been there for me sooo many times. I just tried messaging him a couple weeks ago to let him know how much i miss and love him. Also that he had been on my mind a lot lately. I didn't get to see him after he came home, and really widh i could've. My heart goes out to all the family and friends. We lost a beautiful person with a beautiful soul. U will always be loved & missed Hal, ALWAYS!!!
