Anne L. Hodgdon

Anne L. (Gray) Hodgdon 59, a lifelong resident of Brockton, died Dec. 9, 2012. A graduate of Brockton High School, she was a nurses aide at Brockton Hospital for 23 years and later employed at Growthways. She enjoyed cooking, reading, bowling and was a lifelong animal lover. Anne was the daughter of Marilyn Gray of West Bridgewater and the late Roy Gray; beloved wife of Gordon R. Hodgdon for 29 years; loving mother of Melissa Bates of Allston; stepmother of Christopher Hodgdon, Lisa Hodgdon, Julie Tarr, Cindy Fleet and Douglas Hodgdon; step-grandmother and great step-grandmother of many; sister of Christine Giddings of Simsbury, Conn., and an aunt to many. All are welcome to calling hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Chapel at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton.
