Hugh T. McLaughlin

Hugh T. McLaughlin, of Brockton, formerly of Randolph, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2017, at the age of 75. Hugh was born in Cambridge and had lived in Brockton for the past 40 years. He worked for Draper Labs as an Electronics Technician, in Applied Research Development, Education and Technology Transfer. He was also a member of the Apollo 11's successful mission of man's first landing on the moon in July of 1969. He retired after 40 years of service. Hugh loved hunting and camping in the peaceful woods of Maine. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Hugh will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Hugh was the beloved husband of Carol (Lehto) McLaughlin. Loving father of Charlene Cribben of Brockton, Jewel Knight of Wareham, Jody Knight of Wales, UK, Catherine Ryan of Nashua, NH and Helen McLaughlin of Taunton. Devoted brother of Patricia Rizzo and her husband Joseph of Abington and the late William McLaughlin. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rte. 28) Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
