James L. Bouzan

James L. Bouzan of Plymouth, formerly of Brockton, died peacefully May 28, in his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Frances E. (Crawford); loving father of Patrick J. Bouzan and his wife Elaine of Taunton, Bryan K. Bouzan of Plymouth and Nancy Flanagan and her husband Michael of Plymouth; brother of Gertrude Garrison of Chicago and Rita Gennimi of Yonkers, N.Y.; cherished grandfather of Edward, Leo, Shawn, J.D. and Nicole; beloved brother-in-law and an uncle to many nieces and nephews. Born in Cambridge, Nov. 9, 1927, a son of the late James Patrick and Matilda (Sime) Bouzan, he was educated in Dorchester schools. James joined the U.S. Navy as a Seaman, 2nd class serving during World War II. He later went to work as a whole-salesman for G&H Poultry Co. for 36 years, and later as a medical equipment repairman for PharMerica Co. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, playing cards and most of all spending time with his family. Funeral from the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth, Monday at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Kateri Tekakwitha , West Plymouth, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours Sunday from 4-7 p.m. Private burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at a later date.
