Ernest Tassinari Obituary

Ernest Paul Tassinari, 87, of Plymouth died Feb. 26, at Jordan Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Dolores (Lantagne) Tassinari of Plymouth; father of Marie Anne Bower of Ellicott City, Md., Edward C. Tassinari of Plymouth, Mark P. Tassinari of New Ipswich, N.H., and the late Suzanne MacDonald. He also leaves five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Ernest was born in Wareham, the son of Ernest and Teresa (Bussolari) Tassinari. He was in the U.S. Army during the second World War in the D-Day Campaign to liberate Europe. He graduated from Wareham High School, the College of The Holy Cross, and graduate school at the Columbia School of Business. Ernest was a self-employed CPA and loved photography. He was a musician and took pride in his yard and gardens. All services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472, or the American Cancer Society-Plymouth Unit, 1115 Chestnut St., Brockton, MA 02301. Mr. Tassinari,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army in Europe fighting the Germans during WW II-especially at D-Day. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
