Richard J. Brocklesby

Richard J. Brocklesby, of Randolph, formerly of Braintree, passed away unexpectedly Nov. 23, 2012, at the age of 75. Born in Waltham, he graduated from Weymouth High School. Richard worked for South Shore Bank for over 35 years and retired as the assistant vice president in 1992. He had many passions in life, including reading, photography and sports, however, spending time with his family is what brought him the most joy. Richard was the beloved husband of Nancy (Migliorini) Brocklesby; loving father of Nancy Lloyd of Randolph, Richard Brocklesby of North Easton and Scott Brocklesby of Plymouth; brother of the late John Brocklesby, William Brocklesby and Helen Byrne. Also survived by six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. A memorial Mass will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 850 Washington St., Braintree. At the request of the family, visiting hours have been omitted and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Richards name to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
