Mitch:
We are so sorry for your loss. You did not know us until Friday night, I think you are the man we met at the Truck Stop on hwy 301. Please know that God put you in our path Friday night. May you put your faith and trust in him during this difficult time.
God Bless you and your Family!

What can I say about my friend Allen? We first met at Travelers Rest High School.
We both went into the army but after our Army basic training and technical school he went to the Far East and I went to Europe. I wrote him a letter and it was returned marked "Deceased" I foud out later that he had been wonded. After we were discharged from the army he helped me get a job where he was working. He was "Best Man" at our wedding. He decided to attend University and I returned to military service. We lost touch for a long period but resumed our friendship after he made a trip to Texas, and looked up my name in the phone book. It was as if we had never been apart talking of old times and old friends. He will be missed not only by Margaret and the rest of the family but by his many friends, especially by Jeannette and me.
I loved you "Old Friend"
