Christopher Henson Obituary
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Christopher "George" Shawn Henson, 36, of 182 Loop Road, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2012. He was the husband of Sarah Elizabeth Lawhorn Henson of Chesnee and the son of Sheila McFalls Henson of Spartanburg. He was of the Baptist Faith and was employed at Echols Roofing & Construction.
Survivors also include two sons, Justin and Austin Henson; a daughter, Mattie Henson; two brothers, Samuel Collins of Inman and Jason Henson of Forest City, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 8, 2012 at The Stribling Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 PM prior to the service.
The families will be at their respective homes.

George a lot of years have past sence the day we meet but I never would of thought a day would of went by that yu were not there and I know that only God could take yu yu from us I HAVE LOST A GREAT FRIEND that no one can replace but I know ur in heaven watching over me and the kids I will miss yu and love yu dearly always

Chris was a very good person and worker as well. He was doing my my odd jobs and did very well as a handyman. I will miss him a lot Prayers to his family

George was always like my big brother, and no matter what would be there if you needed him. God always need angels and I know in my heart that George will be up in heaven looking down and caring for those 3 children. I will make sure they always know how much you loved them. Rest in peace big brother
