Joseph Pruitt Obituary

Joseph B. Pruitt
TIGERVILLE, SC-- Joseph B. "J.B." Pruitt, 90, formerly of Campbell Mill Road, Tigerville, died November 13, 2008. He was the son of the late Bearden S. and Louise Ann Pruitt, and widower of Nannie Belle Pruitt.
He was retired from the SC Highway Department, and was a Baptist.
He is survived by; two daughters, Doris Pace (Bud) of Sunny View, and Carolyn Green (Harrill) of Landrum; a brother, Odell Pruitt of Greer; six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Harold Pruitt; two sisters, Annie Mae Hammett, and Elsie Green; a brother, Walter Pruitt; and a great grandson, Hayden Green.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Walnut Hill Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. John Fortner. The family will receive friends following the service in the church.
The family is at their respective homes.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
