Lillie Cordell Obituary

Lillie A. Cordell
INMAN-- Lillie Allison Blackwell Cordell, 67, passed away September 23, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Brown Lee and Vera Estelle Tate Allison and widow of Jimmy Cordell. She was first married to the late Willie D. Blackwell.
She is survived by three sisters, Betty Jo Darlington (John) of Saluda, Barbara Bodnar of Fredericksburg, VA and Ruth Nelon (Carl) of Hendersonville, NC; two special nieces, Amy Ruff and Crystal Cordell; a granddaughter, Brandi Cordell; many sister in laws and brother in laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Sherry Lee McConnell.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Petty Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 11:30am at Jacksons Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital, c/o Hendersonville Shrine Club, PO Box 1901, Hendersonville NC 28793-1901.
