MOORE, SC-- Steven Whitney Wolfe, 58, of 367 West Autumn Ridge Road, Moore, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. He was husband of Pamela Painter Wolfe of Moore, and the son of Betty Jean Johnson Wolfe of Chesnee and the late Roy Whitney Wolfe. He was the owner of Wolfe Builders for thirty years. He was a member of First Baptist Spartanburg where he served as a Deacon and a member of the Koinonia Sunday School Class. He was a member of Boiling Springs Masonic Lodge #413.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Lucretia Wolfe Ridings and her husband Eric, and Angi Wolfe Etters and her husband Bennie, both of Boiling Springs; one son, Matthew Yates West and his wife Heather of Woodruff; one brother, Thomas A. Wolfe of Spartanburg; one sister, Melissa Wolfe Arrowood of Boiling Springs; four granddaughters and three grandsons. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by one sister, Anita Ann Wolfe.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM Today, July 11, 2010, at First Baptist Spartanburg.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2:30 PM Today, July 11, 2010, at First Baptist Spartanburg with Dr. Don Wilton, Rev. Sal Barone, and Rev. Keith Phillips officiating. Burial will be held at Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Miller, Eber Blackwood, Cecil Yount, Henry Whittingham, Glen Tate, and Alan Arrowood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Spartanburg Children's Ministries, 250 East Main Street, Spartanburg SC 29306.
