Beverly CRESSEY

1932 - 2025

Beverly Lou Cressey was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was 92 years old.

Beverly was born on July 13, 1932, in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota. She was an only child.

She graduated from Kellogg High School and afterward attended Kinman Business University in Spokane, where she was crowned a school princess. She then met her beloved husband, Bill Cressey. They were married on December 14, 1951, and were able to have celebrated their 70th anniversary.

After settling down in Spokane, they raised five children. Bev was a dedicated mother, and she would tell you that was her greatest accomplishment.

Together, Bill and Bev owned and managed Continental Foreign Car Parts for 19 years. A few years later, they began attending First Assembly of God, where they became custodians for 20 of their 40 years in attendance. Beverly had a passionate and dedicated heart for serving.

Beverly was known to be a master seamstress and an expert bookkeeper most of her life.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Alan (Sherry), Billy (Barb), and Tim; daughter, Pami (Eddie) Simonsen; daughter-in-law, Barb Cressey of Everett, WA; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Cressey Sr.; and her son, Terry.

Service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Spokane First, Shadle Campus, 5610 N. Ash St., Spokane, WA, at 1:00 p.m.
