Cherish SCHLOSSER Obituary

Cherish was born in Spokane Washington on May 24, 2004 to Sharon McGuire. She lived in Spokane for most of her 17 years as well in Bellingham for a period. In her younger years Cherish ran track as well as played volleyball. She had a sensitive soul who used art in many forms to express herself. Cherish had many friends and was very charismatic. She leaves many people to mourn her infectious smile and hilarious personality. Most of all, her sister Kimi Kincaid, Lucia McGuire and Angel Solomon who all looked up to her. As well as her older brothers.

Words will never be adequate to describe who Cherish was. Nor can we quantify the love that so many people had for her. She has left to join her Aunt Katty Andrea, who precedes her in passing, to paint pictures in the sky. Yet not before leaving so many lives, that have been changed forever by her presence.

3 years! It´s hard that time moves forward but my heart is still frozen in time. You are missed beyond measure. I miss your radiance, your spiciness, your funniness, your sarcasm and wit. You were so funny. I hear you talk to me still and you leave me signs that you are near. I know you are with Jesus and you are running free in that field of flowers playing with all the children. I see you through the waterfall. You are so happy that my sadness cannot even be felt. We all continue to honor your life by talking about you, reminiscing and remembering you and watching all your crazy videos! Your friends miss you. You touched so many lives and left your imprint on the world in a way only you could. So keep up the good work shining your light from above and guiding us all. We love and miss you so much!!!! Love, mom

Tomorrow makes 2 years that you´ve been gone. It´s hard to believe that it´s been that long without hearing your laugh, your jokes and your hugs. The world has been a different place since your presence isn´t in it. I have to reconcile that that you are in a beautiful place and that we will be reunited again. We miss you soooooo much!!!

Happy Valentine´s Day to my girl. You were all about holidays. Any holiday! We miss you more than we can put into words. My heart is in halves. Half is so happy you are in Heaven and half feels that deep sense of loss that will never be whole until we are reunited. We live and miss your beautiful smile and your compassionate soul. Love, your Ma.

It´s been a year now. We have missed you beyond measure. Your light shines so bright still and you will never ever be forgotten. I know that God has. You are restored in total splendor and I see you in an illuminating light. I see all the signs you send me and hear you talking to me all the time. I´ve tried so hard to honor your memory and continue to live a life that you would want. You left way too soon and shattered many hearts. But, we know you would want us to move forward and live for you. Keep shining bright My Girl. Love and missing you. Mom

My girl, missing you is an understatement. Everywhere I go, I see so many reminders. Christmas was such a special time shopping for everyone. I see so many gifts I wanna buy and gifts you´d want me to buy. I miss your compassionate huge heart of how you always tried to help people when they were hurting or in need. Your friends and family are grieving. There is not a lot of laughter as of late. I know you are partying at the palace with grandma, grandpa, Lisa, John, Terry, aunt Katty, all your own friends that have gone before you. You are an angel now and are protecting us. Watching over us. My heart is still so sad but I feel that pat on my shoulder "don´t be sad, Mom. " how many times you´ve done that for me. We are trying to honor your memory by celebrating the best we can. Fly high Angel. Love you , mom

I met Cherish earlier this year when I went to Spokane Wash. to visit my daughter and grand daughter ( jessi anMarie).
Cherish was a delite to meet and spend some time with. Cherish was very special to jessi and marie! They loved her and considered her a part of their family. My daughter was utterly devastated at loosing Cherish!!! Her heart is completely broken!!!!
To Cherish's friends and family, I send my condolences.
May our Lord God thru Jesus Christ, give you some comfort in this very difficult time.

My daughter Destiny told me she had met Cherish and she was very nice to her. She did not know she had passed away and was wondering where she had gone. I had saw her obituary and gently broke the news and let her read the obituary. She wanted to say she is sorry to to hear that she has passed away and she will always remember her.

Cherish was an amazing student and she was my friend. She was a bright light in our classroom. Cherish really enjoyed beating her teachers at cards. She is and always will be deeply missed by many.
