Daniel KUKUK Obituary

November 17, 1941 - August 26, 2024

Deer Park - Daniel Joel Kukuk, 82, of Spokane, Washington, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2024. Born on November 17, 1941. He was proud to have served in the Army. Dan's passion for bowling was unparalleled. His involvement in the sport spanned over six decades, during which time he owned two bowling alleys and left an indelible mark on the bowling community. Alongside his cherished wife, Katherine, Dan participated in the Senior PGA Tour, where the couple's deep knowledge and kindness forged lasting friendships and earned them widespread admiration. Their legacy in the sport was cemented with their joint induction into the Bowling Hall of Fame. He also loved his golfing with his buddies.

Dan was a beloved husband, stepfather, grandfather, brother, uncle. He was also surrounded by his stepdaughter, Debra Ramelow; stepdaughter, Tina and Bryan Richardson; stepson, Robert and Barbara of Reno, Nevada; sister, Deborah and Andrew Wasbrekki; nephew, Hans and Christinia Sauer; half-brother and sister, Walter Kuckuk and Daisy Kuckuk Statzman. His humor, gentleness, kindness, smile, and fun guy will be missed.

The family invites loved ones to join in a celebration of Dan's life on October 20, 2024, at 3:00 PM, at Darcies University City. It will be a time to honor a life well-lived and to cherish the memories that Dan has left behind.
