Dorothy and I met in a quilting class in 1993 at The Quilting Bee in Spokane. Our many quilting excursions, always so fun, sharing many laughs and good times, and of course, lots of new quilt projects!! We spoke "every day" by phone, if we didn't see each other, until her illness made that no longer possible. She was a true friend in the truest sense :) Being reunited with Morrie will put a smile on her face, something that had been "missing" since his passing in 2002. Heaven is so lucky to have this prolific quilter wrap her love around each of you. Although I'm sad, I'm so relieved that my friend is free from her pain. Sylvia LaShaw - Freeman, WA

I was so surprised to read about Dorothy passing. I can remember a lot of great times with you kids and your mom and dad. We had a lot of laughs and fun.
