DARROW, Elaine M.
Passed away on July 16, 2016 in Spokane, WA at the age of 92. She was born in Priest River, ID to Charles and Frances Maio on February 19, 1924. Elaine married Marvin Darrow and they were lifetime members of this community. They were well-traveled to Europe and the Holy Land. Elaine enjoyed life as a homemaker and especially tending her beautiful rose garden. She was known for her kind heart, infectious smile and impeccable fashion sense. Elaine was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin, sister Rose Naccarato and brother Frank Maio. She is survived by her nieces Donna Stanek, Diane and Karla Maio and nephew Rick Maio as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews including Anne Stanek. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Thomas More Church. Graveside will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery at 11:30 AM. Memorials in her honor may be sent to Hospice of Spokane, PO Box 2215, Spokane, WA 99201.
