With love and respect. So happy to have shared time with him growing. I will never forget the many adventures and stories he shared and the positive influences he made in my life. Amazing how we were reconnected. Feel blessed to have known him at all and that he remembered me.

I love you Gary. I'll never be able to experience rubber duckies and Taco Tuesdays the same way ever again. Thank you for being my friend. Peace, Love and Joy.

My deepest sympathy to your family. Mr Clement was one of my all time favorite teachers. He will be sorely missed.

My deepest sympathies to all of Gary's family. This is very sad to learn.
I grew up next door to the Clements on Hopkins Street and have so many fond memories of him, his brother Ron, sister Sharon and their folks. Have never forgotten all the hours we played baseball and football in the park and swimming the Memorial pool. Was on the crew with Gary at the pool. We cleaned the decks, bathrooms, and other chores so we didn't have to pay the admission to the pool. We were on the Pasco swim team for so many years and thank goodness Gary was a couple years older than I because I didn't have to compete against him - never was able to beat him. So many memories of swimming meets.
Gary recommended me for two jobs he was leaving; dishwasher at the Tic-Toc Cafe and janitor at Inland Glass.
The Clements were a great family. Lost touch with them but never forgot. RIP old friend.

Dear Jean, Mary, and Families,
Gary and I first met at Mead Junior High in the early seventies and remained friends ever since through many educational, social, and recreational adventures. He was everything his wonderful obituary said he was! Most recently we would have random visits on the streets of the downtown metropolis of Mead as I would be out on my morning workout and he would stop on his way to Idaho for a chat. I'll miss him and those encounters. You are in my heart as you grieve his loss. My hope is that fond memories will sustain you as you adjust to life without him.
Sincerely,
Paddy Inman

To Gary,
From one Pascoite to another. God bless you and keep you, my friend. You were such a sweet, kind, and fun man to be around. As a new teacher to the district and to Spokane, you helped me find just the right mechanic for my car. I'm sure you helped many others in similar situations. I will remember you always, as will the staff and many students who were fortunate to come through your door. With love, Gaynell Coppess
