The Hooke family has always been one of my favorites. I am truly saddened to hear of Heather's passing. Far too young. She will be missed by so many of us. I wish her family, immeadiate and extended, peace and love during this difficult time.

I met you in mid-July. My cousin was in the Hospice home. You were at a table making a 'gum' chain with a friend. We talked about your daughter. I look at your picture and see what you were when you had the memories you told me about your life. You were most concerned about your daughter. Thankful that your sister would be there. Thank you for what I shared with you. Deb Scholz Crocker

I was so incredibly saddened to hear the news that Heather had passed away. Although it has been some time since I last saw Heather, I have very fond memories of her and of our friendship going all the way back to when we were in grade school and were Hamblen Huskies! She was such a happy, sweet girl with lots of energy (a little ball of fire) who loved life and loved to laugh and have fun. I hear from many that she fought an incredibly brave, courageous, optimistic and graceful fight against her cancer. What an inspiration! Her family should be so proud as I am sure they are. Will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers and esp. so for sweet little Ava, who lost her mommy way too soon! Wishing you strength during this very difficult time! May time bring you some peace.

I am so blessed to have known you Heather. Your strength, strong will & love for life have forever changed me. We would laugh and laugh and laugh at the funny & dumb things about life. I think one time we may have peed our pants from laughing so hard. And as the days came where the pain & suffering became more frequent, there wasn't so much to laugh about anymore. Heather, thank you for sharing a part of your life with me. Thank you for teaching me that every time I turn a year older, to be so very thankful. I cherish life more now than ever! Thanks for being my close & dear friend. You will always be a BRIGHT light to me! I know God will continue to hold & heal the Hooke's & Trujillo's broken hearts. All my love goes out to you all. We will always be here for you Lincoln & Ava. I love you girl! nikki

I am so sorry for your loss. Heather and I played softball together at Ferris. I remember her as always smiling and having fun. Although I haven't seen Heather in several years, but I have thought of her often and have prayed fervently for Licoln, Ava, and family through out the last four years.
Having lost my grandma at the Hospice House the very day Heather moved into the room next door, I understand the pain your family is in. I'm thankful that Heather is now at peace and that her surviors would have His amazing grace and strength during this time.

Heather and I shared many happy times throughout our school years and after. She returned to Spokane after becoming a loving wife and mother to a beautiful daughter, Ava. She reconnected with many of her friends and was able to share many more good times. The memories will always remain vivid and forever in my heart. I am grateful she was able to share my wedding day with me this last January. Her sweet smile and charming ways will never be forgotten. I love you Heather and may our paths cross again. I miss you. Thoughts and prayers to the Hooke's and Trujillo family. Love to Miss Ava.

Heather was a beautiful person and I am so glad I got to have her in my life. We shared some hilarious and wonderful moments back in high school, and reconnected again 5 years ago and got another chance to relive some of those times! I am so thankful she was brought back into my life before she left again. I will miss her and her beautiful smiling eyes. She truly was a blessing to all. Rest in peace my sweet sweet friend! Your suffering has ended.
