Marcia TRUDEAU Obituary
Marcia (Marty) Ann Wells Trudeau passed away on January 7, 2024, in Spokane, WA, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA, to Norbert and Cecilia Wells. Her father's career took the family all over the United States, and Marty would fondly share her memories of all the states and schools she attended. After high school, she stayed on the West Coast and attended Gonzaga University. It was at Gonzaga that Marty met the love of her life, William (Bill) Trudeau. They married on June 2, 1962.
Marty was a devoted wife to Bill for 61 years. Together they raised five children: William Jr. (Barb) and Michelle Petretee of Spokane, WA; Michael (Jodi) of Beaverton, OR; Dennis (Melinda) of Deer Park, WA; and Doug (Michelle) of Spokane, WA. Her family always came first. An enthusiastic supporter of all her children's activities and events, Marty put many miles on multiple station wagons as a volunteer mom. When her children were older, Marty joined Bill in the family business. She was a second mom to all her children's friends and the employees at Trudeau's Marina. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
Marty is survived by her husband, Bill; her five children, fifteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren; her brother, Steve; and her sister, Denise. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Ann.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 515 W. St. Thomas More Way, Spokane, WA, on Monday, May 20, at 2:00 p.m. A short reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Spokane, 121 S. Arthur St., Spokane, WA 99202. Hennessey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Bill, I´m saddened to learn of Marty´s death. I´m reminded of our times golfing at Esmeralda.
I´m no longer living in Spokane so I won´t be able to come to her memorial but, I wanted to convey my condolences.
