Peter Beardsley Obituary
February 22, 1958 - May 26, 2022
Peter Lewis Beardsley of Stamford, CT passed away suddenly on May 26, 2022 of natural causes.
Born on February 22, 1958 in Waterbury, CT, Peter was the son of Frederick Berkley Beardsley and Betsy Heminway (of Watertown, CT) and stepson of Joelle Beardsley. He was raised in Middlebury, CT, graduated from McTernan School in Waterbury, CT and South Kent School in Kent, CT.
Peter was artistically inclined and started Beardsley Fine Framing in Norwalk, CT with his then-wife Judee Beardsley. Peter was an avid sports person, excelling at horseback riding and skiing. Always known for his easy temperament, positivity and kindness, he enjoyed volunteering at the Laurel House in the later part of his life.
Peter leaves two brothers, Bill and Jim; two sisters, Sharon and Patty; four nieces and nephews and eight grandnieces and nephews. He will always be loved and deeply missed by his family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Laurel House in Stamford, CT. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

I remember when Peter & Patty stayed at our home while their Dad, cousin Fred, was away on a trip. I remember that the bricks on the house were being repointed and Peter found the wet cement and played in it covering himself in concrete. My mother had to wash him off in our set tub in the laundry room. Peter was always fun to be with. Many memories of all of us together for Thanksgiving and Christmas. My mother would knit hats and mittens for all of us. I remember watching the fireworks over Quassy on the Fourth of July. The world is a little bit sadder with Peter gone. My best wishes to Patty, Sharon, Billy and Jimmy

Peter was such a kind soul who was always ready to lend a hand no matter what the task . Weather it was helping build a restaurant or babysitting my unruly children he was up to the task . R.I.P. my old friend.
