Joseph "Joe" Marsilio, 82, of New Cumberland, a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather passed peacefully on Thursday at home, surrounded by his family.
He was born on July 1, 1942, in Hazleton, to the late Louis and Lillian (Urillo) Marsilio.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann (Dill) Marsilio; four children, Richard "Rick" Marsilio and wife, Deborah; Kristine Marsilio; Thomas "Tom" Marsilio and his wife, Amy; and Joseph Marsilio and his wife, Fran; and four grandchildren, Nicholas, Derek, Myah and Joelle Marsilio.
Joe's most cherished gift in life was his family.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home, 1303 Bridge St., New Cumberland, followed by a Mass at noon in St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge St., New Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marian Catholic High School Athletic Department, 166 Marian Ave., Tamaqua, PA 18252.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe´s passing. I remember Mary Ann and Joe as wonderful neighbors of mine, when I was a little girl. Joe had a great smile and was always laughing that is my memory. In sympathy Lisamarie Shepperson Stetz, Tom and Gerry Shepperson´s daughter.
