Eleanor Young Obituary
Formerly of Mt. View Drive, Pine City, slipped away quietly with her family at her bedside, early Good Friday morning, March 21, 2008. Contributions can be made to the CCNF Resident Fund, 103 Washington St., Elmira, NY 14901, or the Elmira Wesleyan Church, 1100 South Main St., Elmira, NY 14904. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., on Monday, March 24, 2008, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with Funeral Service Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Elmira Wesleyan Church, followed by graveside service in Woodlawn Cemetery at 2:00. We miss her already, but are at peace knowing Mom and Dad are dancing together again - no more discomfort, no more questions, just together forever with all of their heavenly family. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Both of your parents were wonderful people and I have been blessed in knowing them. Sara's poem ' Death of a Christian ' certainly fits your parents.

I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. When she was a young girl, she and my Mom were very close. They were first cousins (Jean Stewart Ellison). She was a very special person and very thoughtful. She will be missed.
