Thomas Cahall Obituary

Thomas Marion Cahall passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025, at Talbot Hospice. He was born November 4, 1951, in Easton Maryland to Betty Marie Steele and Thomas Cahall.

He grew up in Wye Mills, Maryland where he rode bikes, fish in the pond, went sledding down the Dam Hill, and even climbed on the Old Wye Oak.

His family later moved to Easton where he graduated from Easton High School in 1970. He worked various jobs. Later in life he went to college and earned his degree in electronic engineering. He loved his new career and worked in the field until he retired.

He was a kidney transplant recipient generously given to him by his youngest sister, Linda Baker in 2003. Tom was a volunteer for Donate Life Maryland.

He loved classic cars and enjoyed going to shows with his 1956 Chevy Bel Air two door hard top, sometimes winning a trophy. He was a founding member of the Chesapeake Classic Car Club. Ham Radio is another of his hobbies. He belonged to the Talbot Amateur Radio Society.

He survived by his wife, the former Debbie Boinski, three sons, Chris, Bob and Todd (Adela) Crouch, whom he was very proud of the fine men they became. He was Pappy to his beloved granddaughter Alice Crouch. His sisters Peggy Cahall, Helen (Bob) Gretzinger, Joyce Bambary, and Linda (Eddie) Baker. Sister-in-laws Lois (Fred) Bahr and Laurie (Paul) Blumberh, plus many wonderful nieces, nephews, and friends.

He and Debbie traveled this fall to the Grand Canyon and Sedona Arizona, a destination on his bucket list.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16 from 6 to 8 PM at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home, 200 South Harrison Street, Easton, MD. The funeral service will be at Royal Oak Methodist Church at 11 AM the following morning, 6968 Bellevue Rd, Royal Oak, MD 21662.
