Carmen Jarose Obituary
Mr. Carmen Jarose, Sr., aged 73 of Castle Hayne died Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Britthaven in Wilmington. Funeral Services are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Friday, May 14th, 2010 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM just prior to the funeral service. Inurnment will follow on Monday, May 17, 2010 at Oleander Memorial Gardens Columbarium.
Mr. Jarose was born July 7th, 1936 in Passaic, NJ, a son of the late Charles and Helen Malike Salerno and was a US Army veteran. Carmen was the past Governor of the Passaic Moose Lodge # 542 in Passaic, NJ.
Survivors include 4 sons, Samuel, Thurman Charles, Jonathan and Matthew T; 4 daughters, Debbie, Carolyn, Cynthia and Melanie; 5 sisters, Dolly Brown, Maria, Sally Jarose, Barbara Masterangelo and Beverly Jarose; 21 Grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; former spouse and best friend Kathy Jarose; Mr. Jarose was preceded in death by 3 brothers, 2 sisters and a son, Sonny Jarose.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Community Home Care & Hospice.
