Edgar Sellers Obituary
SUPPLY -- Mr. Edgar E. Sellers Jr., age 84, of Supply, died Monday May 23, 2011, at Brunswick Community Hospital.
Mr. Sellers was born in Brunswick County on September 22, 1926, and was the son of the late Edgar E. Sellers Sr. and Elizabeth Clemmons Sellers. He was a veteran of the United States Army and Air Force. He retired from Babcock and Wilcox of Wilmington. He was a devoted and faithful member of Supply Baptist Church where he served as Deacon, choir member, Sunday School teacher and Sunday School Director.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Sellers; three daughters, Wanda Sellers, Nancy Nixon and husband Bryan, Terri Pittman and husband Lee all of Supply; three grandchildren, Daniel Nixon, Oran Pittman, Hanna Pittman; a sister, Vernie Carpenter of Supply; sister in-law, Myrtie Sellers of Supply.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 26, 2011, at 2pm at Supply Baptist Church with Reverend Bill McNeill officiating. Burial will follow in the Georgetown-Holden Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be, Allan McDowell, Brian McDowell, Chris Clemmons, Larry Cox, Jay Reynolds, Jeremy Sellers. Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of Supply Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
The family would to give a special thanks to the staff of the ICU department and especially Denise of the Brunswick Community Hospital for the care given to the family during this difficult time.

Our hearts and prayers go out to your entire family during this time. Mr. Sellers was an exceptionally wonderful man who always had a beautiful smile on his face especially when he talked about his family. I know he will forever be loved and greatly missed.
