I was in complete disbelief when I heard of Michael's passing, I had known him for 20 years as he had purchased auto dealer supplies from me, I have met thousands of people through my job and have to say that Michael was one of the greatest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing ! I will miss the 15 to 30 minute conversation that I had with him every other Tuesday around 11:00 am ! But most of all I will miss my friend Michael ! My heart goes out to his wife, son, daughter, mother, father, and all other loved ones ! In closing I just want to thank the good lord for allowing me the presence of knowing one of his greatest children which was Michael Hardee !

Dear Phil & Marie, We never had the opportunity to meet Michael....however we did have the opportunity to work in your home.....shortly after meeting you both....it was easy to see you were nice people with warm hearts. While working in your home....we noticed a display of pictures of your children and their families....it was displayed with pride and love. Pictures say a thousand words....it was clear to see from their smiles that the warm hearts had tricked down. We wish we had the opportunity to meet Michael...and knowing it would not take long to see the warmth in him. To you both and your family....you have our thoughts and prayers.

Marie and Phil. There are no words that can ease the pain. Only time and staying close to Gog can do that. I know what you are going through. It is something that only time will help some, but you will never get over it with out God. My son has been gone 34 years and I still cry. I cried when I heard about Michael. When he and I were Kids,sometimes we would get to go to the race tracks with our Daddy's. Mine being Billy Slater. I remember us just doing things that were just dreamy like in becoming big time professionals.
Super great guy I always remembered. This was 40 years ago at least,and I still remember.

I bought three cars from Michael (two Chevy Blazers and a Saturn) and he always gave me a better price than I could find anywhere else. Michael was also one of the most honest, kind, and sincere people I've ever met. He always greeted me with a big smile and left me a little happier for having been in the warmth of his presence. I was very sad to hear the news of his passing. May God's peace and love be with his friends and family, during this most difficult time.
