Karen Foss Obituary
A private Celebration of Life was held prior to her death. Arrangements are entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home, Peru.
Karen was born February 27, 1958 in Sandwich to Norman and Louise (Cleveland) Flavin. She was a graduate of Somonauk High School, Class of 1976.
Karen worked as a dental technician and retired after 25 years. She enjoyed photography, working at several antique shops, and her Dodge RT Charger. She especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially her grandkids.
Survivors include her significant other and caretaker, Gerald "Jerry" Carter of rural Utica; her son, Lloyd Foss of Embarrass, MN; three grandchildren; one sister, Janet Merrick; five nieces, Jenny Esparza, Sara Knotts, Jenna Hickey, Lindsay Groeneveld, and Samantha Johnson-Crockett; and five nephews, Zech Knotts, Justin Groeneveld, Andrew Boker, Steven Smith, and Brad Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Linda Bowker and Nancy Flavin.
