Mrs. Sandra Griffin

SYLVANIA, Ga. -- Mrs. Sandra Griffin, age 58, passed into rest Sunday, July 24, 2016, at Pruitt Health, Macon, Georgia. The Screven county native was the daughter of the late Lamar Griffin and the late Marvenia Griffin Campbell. She received her formal education in the public school system of Screven County and attended Ogeechee Technical College. Mrs. Griffin worked as a home health nurse and was employed with Health Masters for over 10 years. She was a member of the Mission Outreach Ministries, Inc.
Mrs. Griffin leaves to mourn her passing: a loving, devoted husband, Freddie Griffin, Sylvania, Ga.; three sons, Adrian Tyrone Griffin, Sylvania, Ga.; Reuben Chris (Kiombi) Griffin, Augusta, Ga.; and Fred Lee Griffin Jr., Sylvania, Ga.; extended children, Annlette Pearsall, Snow Hill, N.C.; and Fitzgerald (Karen) Ryan, Columbia County, Ga.; sisters, Gloria (Jimmy) Anderson, Sylvania, Ga.; and Cathy Griffin, Sylvania, Ga.; brothers, Harold Griffin, Sylvania, Ga.; Timothy W. (Connie) Griffin, Rincon, Ga.; and Henry Frank Griffin, Sylvania, Ga.; several grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Mrs. Griffin will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016, at the Statesboro Mission Outreach Ministries, Inc. with Bishop Virgil L. Badie Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Memorial Park Cemetery.
Final rites have been entrusted to Hill's Mortuary, Inc.
