Uncle Billy....words cannot express the way I feel. Your kind and encouraging words is what I am going to miss the most. You always cared about my well being. You never judge....you would just listen and tell me this said the Lord. I thank you for that. Love you and miss you. Rest in Heaven!

You had a big impact on my 4 years at Johnston.. you always made everyone feel safe in the halls of Johnston and you were easy to talk to. I'll never forget you. Rest in paradise Mr. Spivey.
Praying for the whole Spivey family. Much love. ❤

I'll always have fond memories of Bishop Spivey. He taught me to pray and "tarry" and ultimately baptized me. I ran into him several years later at Sear's and found him to be the same jovial and energetic personality I'd remembered all those years ago. His warm spirit connected as if we had just spoken yesterday and his laughter remained infectious.
To the Spivey family - Thank you for sharing him and his gifts with us. - Adrienne
