Ira was a very kind person and I admired him. He was an advocate for so many that needed one. He was such a proud swim team dad and fun to be around. I'm so sorry for your huge loss.

Ira was a classmate of mine at Itazuke air force base in Japan . I have very fond memories of him, a very nice young man in high school. RIP Ira.

Ira was my Lawyer my entire adult life. Most of the time He did so without pay. I have never known any man much less an Attorney so willing to help the guilty. He was my Knight in shining Armor. He rescued me several times. I will never be able to repay Him for all He did for me. I'll see Him in Heaven. RIP Ira. The best Man I know.

I was lucky to play soccer with Ira for a number of years. He was cranky and he was funny and he was a really great teammate. Years later I moved and found that Ira was a neighbor and have been able to connect as a couple of dads—especially as somewhat mature gentlemen with younger kids. He did it all with grace and good humor and kindness (with a pinch of geezer crankiness) and I really want to be like Ira Davis if I ever grow up.

I worked for Ira back in the late 80s. I learned a lot from him and he gave me a chance when no one else would. May his memory forever be a blessing.
