Dear Tennison Family,
My deepest sympathy for your loss. You are a special family and I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember vividly the day Jeff came to my classroom to share his knowledge with my 5th graders in Taylor's class. I will remember him fondly. My heart goes out to you. I am here if you need anything.
Sincerely,
Karen Hamnett

I would like to speak for all of us here at Texas State University and say that first of all we share with you in your time of grief and will truly miss Jeffrey as one of our Bobcat family members here in San Marcos. As another chance for family, friends, loved ones, and fellow students to honor the life of Jeffrey David Tennison, his family and friends are invited to the annual Student Foundation Bobcat Pause memorial service for all Bobcats, past and present, who have passed away throughout the year. More information on this event as well as an additional guestbook dedicated to Bobcat Pause is available at

Once again, my deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of Jeffrey. Although he may be missed, he will always be remembered.

My name is Marie Schirmacher Berry and I am the sister-in-law of Beverly. Roger is my (little) brother. We have been neighbors here in Spicewood for over 14 years and have become very close to each other.. I feel the need to extend my deep sympathy to you and your family as we both lost someone we love on this tragic day. We realize it was a terrible accident as their souls traveled to heaven together. May you find comfort in the days ahead and may your memories of Jeff stay in your heart forever.

Jeff, may God Bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Your special friendship with Alan over the years will remain in our hearts always.
I will always remember the little boy with blond hair at Alan's birthday parties in the 60ies who was so quiet and polite. Thank you for bringing joy and love to us all.
