Jerry SUMMERS Obituary
Jerry Don Summers, age 54, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas. He was born on June 30, 1961 to Don Duane Summers and Jerrilynn Kay (Corvin) Summers. Jerry graduated from Cathedral-Carmel High School in 1979 and The University of Louisiana at Lafayette (formerly known as The University of Southwestern Louisiana) in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Finance (both located in Lafayette, Louisiana). He moved to Austin, Texas in 1984 and began a successful career in real estate that spanned over 30 years. He had a vibrant personality with a great sense of humor and a unique ability to always make people laugh. He is survived by his mother and father, his younger brother Slade, his two sons Taylor and Branden, and many other loving family members and friends. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 2pm at Riverbend Church - Smith Family Chapel, 4214 Capital of Texas Highway North, Austin, Texas 78746, with family friend and ordained minister Janie Varisco officiating. A reception will follow at a different location after the service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Transplant Foundation at www.americantransplantfoundation.org

JD was a wonderful person that we will greatly miss in Santa Rosa Beach / Destin area. His life was so entertaining and he was great with people. I pray for JD and his family and to comfort his children and family. God bless you JD, you will be very missed.
